Earl Clear was the most courteous and prompt mechanic and was a tremendous resource for my wife and I when we experienced car problems with our Honda Odyssey van when we pulled into his garage driving through on transit from North Carolina. On an extremely busy Saturday, he and his wife Jackie helped diagnose our car, arrange quickly to have us get a taxi when we had no other options for our car. We are tremendously thankful for their help and I would highly recommend this garage to anyone in the area to fix their car. Mechanics need to take advice from his high level of knowledge and superior customer service. I stopped in on Friday August 22, 2014 with a battery warning indicator lit, and 250 miles ahead of me in the rain to get home. I was a tourist in a town full of tourists. But they checked the alternator and the battery on the spot, and we decided it was a nothing more than a faulty indicator. He could have charged me for a battery and an alternator, but instead, he asked how far I had to go, and then suggested I get it checked when I got home. He believed we would make it, and we did. Charge for the diagnosis? Nothing. Thank you Smith's Garage! Recommend you guys to anyone! The true meaning of trustworthy.
